Aaron Tippin

(Nashville, TN - March 14, 2009) -- As country legend Aaron Tippin treks across country promoting his new album, IN OVERDRIVE, he paid a visit last weekend to Fox TV's Governor Mike Huckabee and Bill O'Reilly in New York City.
 
Tippin first visited with The O'Reilly Factor's Bill O'Reilly and compared notes on their trips supporting the troops overseas. "I'm a big fan of Bill O'Reilly and proud to meet the man," Tippin stated.

Governor Mike Huckabee then welcomed the country star and talked country music history before Aaron Tippin presented him with a pair of Cobra CB radios. "This will keep you in touch with your owner [wife] when you're out on the old John Deere," Tippin quipped, much to the Governor's amusement. "Now I'm really in trouble, thanks for nothing," Huckabee chuckled.

Tippin appeared on The Huckabee Show on Fox TV with his band leader David Sloas and nailed a blistering version of the old Jerry Reed classic "East Bound and Down." With main bass man at his side, Governor Mike Huckabee, Tippin and The Little Rockers (Huckabee's band) zipped through the song in rehearsal and laid it down hard at show time. "I was honored to be the Governor's first musical guest and I'm right at home with Mike and The Little Rockers-they can play with me anytime," Tippin stated to a reporter visiting Fox from The New York Times before beating a hasty exit to his limo, JFK Airport and home to Nashville.

In Overdrive is collection of Tippin's favorite trucking songs and is dedicated to those who make their living in the trucking industry and is available on NIPPIT/Country Crossing Records in record stores, online and in truck stop across the nation.
